I am 17 years old and am interested in stocks. I have kinda started my own business while also having a part time job. I dont really do anything with my money so I would like to invest some into the stock market. Am I old enough to buy stocks without parent permission. If I do need a parent i will the stocks be under my name and completely under my control. If I am old enough how and where do I start.

So i buy an option and the stock price goes up, so i want to sell and take the gain. How does it work, do i have to buy the stock first and then sell it to the market, or do i just sell my option and get credited the gain? newbie to options here, any input would be appreciated
so im confused, your option actually act as the stock difference when it goes up? does that mean if the stock goes up $10 the option price goes up 10/stock and then you sell it? who would buy it then?
